For the 2011-2012 School Recycling Challenge the deadline for collecting cans is April 22, 2012 but the deadline for recycling and submitting totals at www.cancentral.com/RoundUp, jday@cancentral.com or faxing to 202/232-5756 has been extended to April 27, 2012 because Earth Day falls on a Sunday. Registration is open now for the 2012-2013 Challenge. It's never too soon to start planning. If you have participated previously, log in to add 2012-2013 to your Challenges.
