America Recycles Day Aluminum Can Challenge
Official Pledge Card Rules
- No purchase necessary. This contest will last from September 1, 2007-November 15, 2007.
- Prizes: 5 T-shirts will be awarded at each participating can manufacturing or aluminum supplier facility. The odds of winning will be determined by the number of entries received. An additional 5 Cans for Cash T-shirts will be provided for use at the facility's discretion.
- To enter, hand print your complete name and address on a pre-printed America Recycles Day (ARD) Aluminum Can Challenge entry card. Incomplete entries will be disqualified. The prize winners will be selected by a random drawing on or about November 15, 2007. The American Can Council (ACC) is not responsible for entries that are late, lost, illegible, misdirected, mutilated and reserves the right to modify scheduling of the contest without prior notice.
- The prize winners will be notified by announcement at the participating can or aluminum supplier's ARD Can Challenge event and or by mail/telephone on or after 11/15/2007.
- All legal U.S. residents are eligible to win. This contest is void wherever prohibited or restricted by law and is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. The odds of winning are determined by the number of entries received.
- Participating facilities are encouraged to forward collected pledge cards to their state's America Recycles Day Coordinator and/or to the director of the National America Recycles Day, Inc. (www.americarecyclesday.org), a non-profit organization, for additional opportunities to win America Recycles Day pledge card drawing prizes. Forwarded ACC Challenge pledge cards are subject to the contest rules of the organizations receiving a facility's pledge card submittal.
Conditions: The ACC, participating sponsors, organizations, can companies, aluminum suppliers and their boards, officers, committees, employees and agents, state agencies or recycling organizations, product donors are not in any way liable for damage, loss or injury from entering the contest or acceptance and use of the prizes. By submitting an entry, participants agree to these official rules and the decisions of the sponsor and the judges and release same from any and all liability, claims or damages arising out of their participation and the acceptance and use of a prize. By accepting a prize, winner grants ACC permission for the use of his/her name and likeness for advertising and future promotion purposes without additional compensation except where prohibited. The winner may also be asked to participate in various recycling promotional efforts. This contest is subject to these complete and official rules. Names of T-shirt and beanie baby winners will be available after November 30, 2007 by mailing a self-addressed stamped envelope to ACC Contest Winners at 1730 Rhode Island Avenue, NW, Suite 1000, Washington, DC 20036.
