Your recycled cans can feed those in need
CMI and Food For All team up to direct can recycling proceeds to local food banks
The Can Manufacturers Institute (CMI) and Food For All have launched a new partnership that will help stock food bank shelves using proceeds from recycled cans. Through this program, individuals, scouts, schools, church groups and other organizations can help those less fortunate by merely collecting and recycling aluminum beverage cans and donating the proceeds to Food For All, a non-profit charity that raises funds for food banks.
Cans are unique in that they have real cash value – 100% of a can is recyclable and a can be recycled endlessly. The CMI-Food For All partnership enables individuals and organizations to take advantage of the value of their cans and make a difference in their own communities – while also helping the environment. All it takes is recycling used cans.

In honor of Canned Food Month – also known as February – please join with CMI and Food For All and turn your used cans into food for those less fortunate. Funds raised will be disbursed by Food For All to food banks in your local area.
